Healthy Home Tips for Spring 🌷

It’s officially Spring and with the changing seasons, we often feel inspired to refresh our homes - decluttering, deep cleaning, and giving our clothes and beauty products a reset.

But did you know a few simple daily (or weekly) habits can make your home even healthier?"

Here are some easy tips to get started...

Tip #1: Take Your Shoes Off Indoors πŸ‘Ÿ

Think about everything your shoes walk through in a day - dirt, chemicals, pesticides, who knows what. All of that ends up in house dust and on floors, where kids and pets spend most of their time. Leaving shoes at the door is one of the easiest things you can do to keep your home cleaner.

Tip #2: Open Windows and/or Doors Daily πŸͺŸ

Opening your windows for just 15–20 minutes a day is an easy way to freshen up the air inside your home - when the weather allows, of course! Just keep them closed on days with poor air quality, like during wildfires or heavy pollution.

Tip #3: Wet Dust and Vacuum Frequently 🧹

Dust isn't just dust - it can carry chemicals from candles, cleaners, and furniture etc. that build up over time. Damp dusting and vacuuming with a HEPA filter are two of the easiest ways to cut down on what's floating around your home.
